Centipede Tours began as a walking tour company in 1974 in anticipation of our nation's Bicentennial celebration in 1976. Legend has it that there were fifty guides which equaled 100 feet which equaled... Centipede! Forty-three years later the tradition continues: Centipede has evolved into a multi-service receptive tour operator and destination management company.
We provide professionally trained guides dressed in colonial costumes. Your guide will give you the facts, of course, but also the myths, legends - and scandals - that will make your visit a memorable one.
